Information We Do Not Collect

Kirana Dukaan is an offline-first application. We do not require an online account, and we do not transmit your store inventory, billing data, customer data, or Udhaar ledger records to servers operated by us.

Your business data is stored locally on your Android device using a Room SQLite database.

Permissions We Request

• Camera: Used only for local barcode scanning through Google ML Kit. We do not record video, take photos, or send camera data over the internet.
• Internet: Used only when you choose to open WhatsApp or an Android share sheet to send an invoice or receipt. The app does not upload your store data to our servers.
• No ads or tracking: The app contains no advertisements and does not use advertising identifiers.

Data Backup and Security

• You can manually export and import database backups and CSV files. These files are saved locally in your device's Downloads directory.
• Depending on your Android settings, Android Auto Backup may copy app data to your personal Google Drive account. We do not have access to that backup.

Third-Party Services

Google ML Kit is used for on-device barcode scanning. Barcode processing takes place locally on your device without transmitting video or image data to external servers.

Children's Privacy

Kirana Dukaan is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
